Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Parker honorably served his country for six years as a Services Officer in the United States Air Force. He was also an accomplished athlete, having been a member of the 2004 Olympic Team. During his time competing in track and field, he was a nine-time NCAA Division I All-American and a three-time US National Champion in the hammer throw. His athletic achievements earned him a place in the USU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
